Aneh Dhivehiraaje' at K, Kaashidhoo

We all need a change 30 years is enough is what i keep hearing from many i speak, He must go all around me is rotting promises of a dying and a failed regime, we all need a change we all need a fresh start we need a new, a better Maldives.
These images are from the island of Kaashidhoo during the Aneh Dhivehiraaje' (a new Maldives) Campaign by the MDP the largest political party in the country.
I have voted 3 times so far and never had the chance to vote for a candidate because it was always a "yes or no" vote
This is the first time in my life i get the oppotunity to actually vote for someone i want
Maldives will decide its fate this November. I hope what ever happens happens for the better...

Mells is a beautiful little village located just outside the town of frome in Somerset (south England)
Mells has 1 pub and 1 shop, the nearest civilization is a 30 minute drive to the nearest town in frome.
there is a regular bus that goes via mells to frome and bath.
One of the biggest attractions of Mells is its Old iron works the church and the big Quarry (make sure u visit these places if you are visiting Mells)
I was very lucky to have enjoyed the beautiful country side of England at this beautiful little village of Mells, This i dedicate to you Mells (a tribute)

My images featured on the 2008 Maldives Visitors Guide

These are two of my shots that made it to the top 25 during the photography competition organised by the MTPB (Maldives Tourism Promotion Board)
The competition was opened to all professional and amateur photographers and was divided in to 4 categories scenic, under water, water sports & culture.
I submitted a total of 13 images to 3 categories and 4 of my images were nominated in the top 25.
My biggest achievement from the competition is 4th place in the water sports category for my image "monoski"
MTPB is to organise a 2nd competition later this year.
I am looking forward to this years competition & wanna thank the MTPB for organizing this exiting opportunity for Maldivian photographers.
